here in the land of sapporo, lady winter dictates that the sun set at 3 or 4 every day.
which means , by the time i change into my outdoor shoes and head out of school,bed time seems to be creeping up upon me.
i now subscribe to geriatric happy hour - you get to a certain age where bed time is better than party time. hell, bed time IS party time.
wait. that didn`t quite come out right.
Bygones.
{isn`t this police station so cute? i would totally live there.}
.
but yesterday i realised that spring might just be around the corner indeed. For, lo and behold, when i got home {way earlier than usual} at 5:30 , it wasn`t pitch dark at all! Instead it was a light pinky dusk.
apart from the fact that today was -8 and that it snowed for a good 6 hours straight, i`d say that all the signs point towards spring slowly a headin` my way.
{which means soon i can wear my new sparkly navy blue pumps instead of these stupid uggs. snow boots are only fun for the first month... after that, they can go suck it}

wow look at that police statio...super cute!
i must say i was not a fan of the 'sun going down at 5:30' thing during winter in Germany. made me sadly.. but then i was so happy when summer started to hit
It looks beautiful but I can totally understand you long for spring : ) Here in Sicily it looks like it has already arrived : )

..We're having the least snowy-winter in decades here, so I can apprechiate it from afar when I'm not stuck in it for once.
I do know what you mean about snow and UGGS loosing their novelty part-way into the season. Bring on Spring!
When I see that Police Station, I suddenly understand the whole Nurse Amy/Officer Jenny thing in the Pokemon cartoons.
How positively gorgeous...I would like to bundle up and head on over there right now!
WOW! That is beautiful!
LOL You are too funny, wanting to live in a police station and saying bed time is party time! Looks so gorgeous, though I'd probably be a little sad of the sun setting so early! And yesh, I am pretty much ready to finally send off your long overdue package :)
This is why I love you blog Sarah, it's so informative too (esp your last post, SERIOUSLY? 48 MEMBER JPOP GROUP?? WADAHECK?? WHATT??? and it is kind of creepy since they're barely of legal age!)
